Active and Safe Route to School Peterborough

Active & Safe Routes to School promotes the use of active and efficient transportation for the daily trip to school, addressing health and traffic safety issues while taking action on air pollution and climate change.

During the 2011 - 2012 school year, Active and Safe Routes to School Peterborough will be undertaking a number projects in City and County schools, including: Car-Free School Days; the School Travel Map Project; the Grade 8 Transit Quest; and, Shifting Gears for High Schools.
