COORDINATORS
Promote the challenge: put up posters, form a Shifting Gears committee to give you a hand.
Send out/post the info sheet, announce the challenge, encourage co-workers to sign up.

PARTICIPANTS
Sign up! Register by April 30th to receive an incentive kit of your choice.

INCENTIVE KITS
Online participants: sign up by April 30th to receive an incentive kit.
Offline participants: request an incentive kit from your coordinator.

EVENTS
Friday April 30: Shifting Gears Launch at the MNR (12pm)

MAY 2010

COORDINATORS
Promote the month's events and encourage co-workers to keep up the momentum
If your workplace is participating offline, ensure there are enough tracker sheets posted in a common area (with a pen!) for all participants

PARTICIPANTS
Track your trips! Be sure to update your tracker at least once a week to be eligible for weekly draw prizes.

EVENTS
Wednesday, May 5: Walking Energizer Station @ PRHC (6:30-8:30am)
Add some pizzazz to the end of your morning trek! Grab a muffin, banana or juice on your way in to work and start your day smiling

Wednesday, May 12: Bikefest @ Millenium Park (3:30-6:30pm)
A celebration of all things bike and bikey. Family friendly, with free check-ups, bike exhibitions, practical workshops, and an optional short group ride.

Wedneday, May 19 and 26: Bike Check-Ups @ Confederation Park (4:30-7pm)
By request, these are now being held after work. Stop by and let us give your bike a quick session up in the stand. We'll ensure you're riding safe, making any quick adjustments needed to your brakes and gears on the spot.

INCENTIVES
Monday, May 3: Incentive deliveries will begin delivery (remember, only participants who signed up by April 30 are eligible to receive incentives)
The Shifting Gears Ambassadors will start visiting workplaces, giving away instant prizes to participating employees.
Friday May 21: Deadline to pick up incentives (at Peterborough Green-Up) for participants signed up as individuals (not affiliated with a workplace).

PRIZE DRAWS
May 10, 17, 25, & June 1: Update your tracker at least once per week to be eligible for prizes.

JUNE 2010

COORDINATORS
Friday June 4: Deadline to submit hardcopy tracker sheets for offline workplaces. Fax to 745-4413, or drop off at Peterborough Green-Up.
Wednesday June 16: Shifting Gears Wrap-Up Celebration & Awards Ceremony. 12pm @ Millennium Park.

GUARANTEED RIDE HOME
Friday June 4: Deadline to submit receipts for reimbursement.
Monday, June 7: Reimbursements begin
