COMPLETE CONTEST RULES

The Shifting Gears Peterborough Workplace Transportation Challenge takes place between May 1 and May 31, 2010. Participants are eligible to win prizes; including a Grand Prize (Ontario Resorts Gift Certificate valued at $750), weekly draw prizes, and individual prizes (Value $25).

How to enter:
Register as a participant in The Shifting Gears Peterborough Workplace Transportation Challenge through online registration (www.peterboroughmoves.com) or by signing up with your workplace's Shifting Gears Coordinator. All entries must be fully completed. Prizes will be awarded through a random draw from all entries received. No purchase is necessary. The contest is open only to individuals who live or work in the City of Peterborough, Ontario

Weekly Draw Prizes:
For online participants, trips must be entered online before 4 pm on Friday each week of The Shifting Gears Peterborough Workplace Transportation Challenge. For hard-copy participants, trips must be recorded on the posted tracker sheet before 4pm on Friday each week the the Shifting Gears Peterborough Workplace Transportation Challenge.
Weekly draw prizes are awarded by, first, drawing a workplace from a pool of all participating workplaces.
Workplaces 5 or less participating employees are allotted one ticket. Workplaces with 6 or more participating employees are allotted one ticket for every 5 employees.
The drawn workplace will be contacted for a list of all employees who participated at least once in the previous week. The weekly prize will be awarded to a participant drawn from this provided list of participants.
The draw will be held at 9 am on Monday morning after the weekly contest closes. Winners will be contacted by the Shifting Gears Ambassador.

Prizes:
May 11: Pizza Lunch for up to 20 people at your workplace
May 18: Dinner at for two at Rare Steak House
May 25: Dinner at two at the Parkhill on Hunter
June 1:  $150 gift card to Wild Rock Outfitters

Grand Prize Draw for all participants:
The Grand Prize of an Ontario Resort Gift Package (Value $750) will be selected through a random draw from all participants. Participants must be registered and a minimum of one trip recorded by 4 pm on Sunday, May 31, 2010. All tracking forms must be submitted by workplace coordinators to the Shifting Gears Ambassador by 4 pm Thursday, June 4, 2010. The draw will be held at 12 noon on Friday, June 12, 2010. Winners will be contacted by the Shifting Gears Ambassador. 

Individual prizes for all participants:
One $25 gift card winner will be selected through a random draw from participants at each workplace. Participants must be registered and a minimum of one trip recorded by 4 pm on Sunday, May 31, 2010. All tracking forms must be submitted by workplace coordinators to Shifting Gears by 4 pm Thursday, June 4, 2010. The draw will be held at 9 am Monday, June 1, 2010. Winners will be contacted by the Shifting Gears Ambassador.
Participants agree to be contact by The Shifting Gears Peterborough Workplace Transportation Challenge for the purpose of program evaluation. Personal information is collected for assessment, management, and reporting purposes only.  All Prize Winners agree to have their first and last name used in The Shifting Gears Peterborough Workplace Transportation Challenge promotional materials and related events.
All winners will be contacted by the Shifting Gears Ambassador.  Prizes are collected from Peterborough Green-Up: 378 Aylmer St. Unit 4, Peterborough, ON K9H 3V8. Prizes must be collected within 90 days of winning.
There is no exchange for cash value. No purchase is necessary.
Members of The Shifting Gears Peterborough Workplace Transportation Challenge Steering Committee and their immediate families are not eligible to win prizes.
Winners may be asked to produce a current valid driver’s license or other valid identification.
Decisions of the contest judges are final - no substitutions will be available.
