Shifting Gears is an annual, month-long commuter challenge for citizens who work in Peterborough, Ontario.

Active & Safe Routes to School - Peterborough and the Shifting Gears Team have created a similar challenge for high school students. Participating students are eligible to win great prizes in return for walking, cycling, busing or carpooling to school.
